Location
Circle, just outside of the charming town of Wrightwood, is perched over the San Andreas Rift that runs along the highway it flanks. It is encircled, in fact, by expansive views of the Mojave, San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mountains around it. It is usually hiked together with Gobblers Knob, just on the other side of the rift.
Route 1 is a short moderately steep hike up its west ridge.
