It took many hands to build the Section’s knowledge base and a web site to share it. We would like to acknowledge the people who have made this possible:

First, to those who have built and ran this web site: David Eisenberg, who started the web site in 1986, and Charlie Knapke as webmaster in 2000. Karen and Wolf Leverich ran the web site for the next 25 years and hosted it free of charge, with Karen spending thousands of hours to grow and maintain it, and creating over a thousand trip reports.
